Awana
While we were visiting Alex and Rachel, we went to Awana at Jenn’s church. It was the last night before summer break and the church had all kinds of fun, games, and water activities for the kids.
Slipping and sliding :)
First time playing kickball, with a little encouragement from Aunt Jenn
Running the bases with Aunt Jenn… go Andrew go!
Having fun playing a game of dodge the wet sponge, LOL . That’s him in the dark shirt with sponge in hand :)

Beautiful Rachel and Butterflies
Andrew got a butterfly kit for his birthday and they came out of their chrysalides right before we went to visit Alex and Rachel, so the butterflies came along for the trip!
*** no butterflies were harmed in the taking of these pictures, they were set free the next day :)
Who says you can’t eat ice cream and ride a horse at the same time?
Tree climber extraordinaire!
Just hangin around :)
I really wish the lighting was better on these pictures!

All About Alex
Need a hug? Alex gives the best and has an unlimited amount of them to give :)
Got some Ice Cream? Alex will be right over!
As long as he can bring a best buddy, aka cousin Andrew!
Got a big stick for Alex to swing? He’ll be right there, you may want to stand back though, LOL. Is brush clearing a profession?
Need a haircut? Don’t call Alex, well unless you can cut hair with a stick? Nope, better call Pop Pop instead!

Tinkertoys and a Birthday Boy
We had a fun weekend celebrating Andrew’s 4th birthday. Like most moms I’m still trying to figure out where that time went! Our little baby has most definitely transformed into a little boy in what seems like no time at all!
1. The Cake
2. The Presents
Lightning Mcqueen
Team Geotrax - “All Aboard”
A little help opening all the presents
These cool books came all the way from Australia!
A much beloved Larrymobile as seen in the next picture
3. The Tinkertoys (aka trip down memory lane)
